I believe... A divided body is an epidemic everywhere not just in any one certain church. Even in Old Testament times we see Paul addressing the same issue in the church of Corinth. Paul encouraged the Corinthians to agree on the necessaries and not to let the body be divided by petty differences. The biggest necessity of which is spreading the Gospel of Christ, fulfilling the great commission. The congregation was fighting amongst themselves and following different Christian leaders and placing that leader in a position above God Himself. No one is above God, point blank. God gives us the opportunity to be used by Him to further the kingdom, but we should never think ourselves better than our Creator. We are replaceable and when the pronouns Me, My and I come into the picture you’ve left no room for God.
I believe the worst spirit a church could have is the spirit of dissention, when dissention enters a church it allows the adversary room to move about and destroy. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 NKJV). When the body of Christ (the church) is in disarray it doesn’t allow for God to work the way He needs to and this fighting amongst ourselves is even causing a stumbling block for some and turning others off from joining the church to begin with. We are a community and are suppose to be showing Christ to the outside world and when we act unbecoming of Christians we’re not setting a very good example.
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (1 Corinthians 1:10)
For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3:3)

Who can play the games?
As long as you are a member of OurLordsFriends.com then you can play our games for free at any time and as many times as you want. We have games in categories to suit everyone’s taste from puzzle games to driving games, from classic games to strategy.

For each time you play a game, you receive 1 activity point and for every high score set/ beaten you receive 100 activity points and these can be used for sending virtual gifts.

Scoring:
Most of our games will submit a score to our Leader board and you can challenge your friends to beat that score as well. How ever some games are designed so scores are either not needed or so they do not submit to external arcade scripts. We have left these games on as they can still be fun to play.

Rate & Review:
You can rate each game out of 5 (5 being the best) and add a review for that game too. These can help other members decided whether the games is good enough for them to play and a fun way to interact with other members.

Embed:
Found a game you really like? You can embed that game on your own website/ blog or you can share a url with your friends, so they can play too.

Found a Bad game?
When we add games to the arcade, they are uploaded in a batch of 1000. We can not preview these games until they are up. From time to time, there maybe a game that you find, which is not suitable. If this is the case, then please visit our support thread Here and report that game by supplying the title and if possible the url. We will then remove that game. We have a great admin team who is checking the games out but it will take a long time to go through 9000+ games. We have, how ever removed a lot of fighting, searing and casino games and with your help, we can remove more.

I have been asked a few times what has happened to the arcade. The previous arcade was very buggy and was causing a few issues with the site so we removed it.

There has been a new arcade developed and today we have installed it. Over the nextt week or two, the admin team will be beta testing the arcade and removing any unapproiate games. We will then release the arcade so every one can play and enjoy it.

The new arcade is a lot better and includes many new features one of which will allow you to embed the games on your website/ blog.

When the arcade has finished being tested, i will release a list of features but in the meantime, here is a screen shot:

If you have joined OurLordsFriends.com since the end of December or submitted content, then please forgive us and accept our apologies as your membership or content has been lost.

Sadly due to circumstances out of our control, our server packed up. The hard drive that stores our websites crashed and were not able to be repaired. We run a monthly back up of OurLordsFriends.com and in fact the crash happened the day before the next back up was due and this is why we have lost the last few weeks new memberships and content submitted.

I have spent the last two days and night (15-17th January 2010) working on getting OurLordsFriends.com back up and running and can say we are now back up. I have also been in a lot dialogue with the hosting company we use and to prevent any form of data loss again, we have come to an agreement that they will run a daily back up for a small fee. This is a new service that they have recently started and when they run the back up, it moves the server files (websites) over to another server. This means if the hard drive crashes again, we will not loose a lot of data. If I knew of this service before, I would I snapped their hands off. I will of course, still be running my own back ups in case anything happens to the hosting company.

I am sure you can understand that this was out of my control and just on of those things but either way, please accept my sincere apologies for the problems that had arisen.

Please do not get me wrong, I am not anal retentive or possess the slightest bit of obsessive compulsive behavior. I do not mind a little bit of clutter or music in the background. However, leaving your stereo on playing to a heavy metal station while I try to make my custom research papers on top of the desk filled with someone else's dinner two nights ago is not my type of living. I tried talking to my roommate about it, but I have yet to see results.

As of now, I am contemplating between throwing my roommate's stuff out of the streets and doing a lockout, or increase my thread of patience until it snaps. I think that thread is still long enough for now, that is.

A Firm Stand for Christ

 

 

A wealthy unbeliever who had spent much money on the education of his daughter, returned home from a business trip to be informed by his wife that the girl had gone forward and accepted Christ at an evangelistic meeting. When she ran to greet him, he struck her several times and told her to get out and never come back. She took shelter in a friend's home and spent the night in prayer. Early next morning the repentant father sent for her to come back. he met her at the gate, saying, "I give you my heart and hand to go with you to heaven." The mother followed, and all rejoiced in the saving power of Christ. A firm stand for Christ did it all.

A mean, worldly army sergeant was saved, and this was his testimony to his fellow soldiers: "There is a private in our company who was converted. We gave that fellow an awful time. One night he came in from sentry duty, very tired and wet, and before going to bed he got down to pray. I struck him on the side of the head with my boots, and he just went on with his prayers. Next morning I found my boots beautifully polished by the side of my bed. That was his reply to me. It just broke my heart, and I was saved that day." That is really a testimony of Christian long-suffering.

Christian Forum:

At OurLordsFriends.com we have a great Christian forum. There are many debates and topics on prayer, bible and anything Christian related as well as a section for general talk.
